"Wardens Lane" is a project inspired by the 1800s Pudu Prison caretakers that resided in a small neighborhood near Chinatown in Kuala Lumpur. The title comes from the main street that runs through the area, Jalan Galloway (Galloway Road); it was named after John Galloway (d. 1935), the chief warden at the old prison.
